So I finally submitted my novel to Harper Voyager and I’m gearing up for this year’s NaNoWriMo. Last year I wrote the first draft of that novel between the 1st and 30th of November, so I’m really excited to be embarking on the next big story at last.

In preparation I am asking my facebook friends to send me daily one-word prompts and I’m going to write a (possibly very) short story a day for the rest of the month. It’s both a warm-up exercise and a fun way to engage with my friends.  I’ll be posting the stories here on this blog, so even if you’re not friends with me on facebook, you can check in each day and read a new short story written by me!
